Our Story
ACE LAB is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Our team of experts from diverse backgrounds collaborates with a range of stakeholders and end-users to develop innovative technologies and clinical approaches that can make a difference in preventing and managing these critical health issues. ACE LAB was formed in 2024 by the top mechanical circulatory support engineers in Australia and collaborates closely with the top cardiorespiratory hospitals in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.​
At the heart of ACE LAB is a team of experienced leaders who bring together more than 15 years of combined expertise in mechanical circulatory support and cardiorespiratory devices. Our leadership team has translated experience in medical device development and evaluation, computational fluid dynamics, coronary disease modelling, benchtop cardiovascular simulators, and lumped parameter modelling.
